Würth FLK 275 LF is a solvent-free, UV-resistant and highly durable 1-component hybrid (SMP) liquid sealant. Once cured, it forms a seamless, durable, hydrolysis-resistant and breathable sill membrane. FLK 275 LF is ideal for vertical surfaces, inclines and connecting work.
It cures by reacting with moisture in the air and substrate.

Around 2.8 kg/m² in two layers with fabric inlay (110 g/m²)
The amount is based on the practical application by applying with a roller on a smooth surface under optimum conditions. Factors such as surface porosity, temperature, humidity, application procedure, application and fabric inlay may result in more or less product being used.

Surface preparation:
Careful preparation of the surface is essential to ensure an optimal result and long service life.
The surface must be dry and free of grease, dirt and dust. Any loose parts must be carefully removed. The substrate moisture content should not exceed 5 %.
Primer:
Prime using Würth LF adhesion primer: PVC roofing membranes, bituminous cold self-adhesive membranes, and PVC window or door frames.
Prime metal substrates such as zinc, zinc plated sheet metal and steel with Rust-Stop Quattro.
Apply the primer as specified in the data sheets and allow it to dry.
Application:
Remove the protective film from the container and stir the Würth FLK 275 LF with an agitator at a low speed before use.
Apply 2/3 of the sealant to the prepared substrate using a roller. Lay the cut-to-size fleece on top of the sealant, then apply the remaining 1/3 of the sealant with a roller.
Once opened, containers should be used up as soon as possible. If a skin has formed on the product in the bucket, this can be removed and the remaining product used as normal.
An additional coat can be applied up to 24 hours after the work is completed without any further preparation. After 24 hours, the dry surface will need to be roughened before application. Alternatively, dry quartz sand can be applied while the layer is still wet to allow further work without roughing.
