- High-performance industrial spray adhesive for fast and reliable bonding of EPDM films.
- The adhesive is supplied in a practical, maintenance-free, portable pressurised container and is particularly suitable for mobile use in roofing applications. The practical canister allows you to work on small areas.
- Bond Roof can be used on a wide variety of materials and easily bonds EPDM films with OSB, concrete, stone, metals, plywood or wood panel materials.
- The web spray looks like a spider web when correctly applied and combines a simple application process, rapid flash-off time and excellent ageing resistance.
Bond Roof from a pressurised container:
- Connect the hose to the container and the applicator securely and open the container valve fully
- The surfaces must be dry and free from dust and grease
- Hold the spray gun approx. 10 centimetres above the surface the product is to be applied to
- BOND ROOF should be used at temperatures of 10-25 °C (ideally 20 °C) for optimum results
- Apply the adhesive evenly in lines
- Avoid creating puddles of adhesive (solvent clumps)
- Always apply the adhesive to both surfaces and let it dry for approx. 2-5 minutes until the solvents have evaporated completely
- The adhesive should be applied to 100 % of the EPDM film and backing material
- Once the solvents have evaporated, the processing time (application time) is approx. 1 hour
- When applying EPDM films, ensure that no bubbles are allowed to form
- To ensure a good, long-lasting connection, both materials should be firmly connected to one another using a press-on roller or a hard broom (contact pressure approx. 2.5 kg/cm²)
- Secure spray gun after use
- NEVER close the valve of the adhesive container unless the container needs to be replaced with a new one
- Bonded materials can be placed under load straight away
- The adhesive will be fully cured after approx. 24 hours
