The ECONOMY 2C window and door frame foam is a high-performance 2-component polyurethane foam that is tack-free and able to be cut after a short period of time.
  • High-quality 2-component polyurethane foam system for reliable and lasting results

  • Optimal raw density for a stable and solid structure under ideal environmental conditions

  • Fast application due to short pot life and quick tack-free time

  • Can be cut after a short time, thus increasing application efficiency

  • Reaches full load capacity within one hour, ideal for rapid construction progress

  • Spreaders can be removed after a short time, thus increasing application flexibility

  • Wide range of application temperatures for versatile application options

  • High temperature resistance

  • Excellent compressive strength and tensile lap-shear strength for robust and long-lasting joints

  • High tensile strength in accordance with FEICA TM 1018:2015 for maximum load capacity

  • Acoustic insulation tested in accordance with EN ISO 717-1 (62 dB)

  • Normal flammability in accordance with DIN EN 13501-1 for safe working

  • Long shelf life
NoticeThis information is based on our tests and experience. Due to the fact that installation conditions can vary, we recommend performing preliminary tests. If the can temperature is above 25 °C before use, the can should be cooled in water. The optimal temperature is between 10 °C and 25 °C.

Application areaFor quick installation of wooden and steel door frames, installation and sealing of window sills, installation of stairs, filling large cavities such as between roof girders, installation of bath and shower trays and filling moulds.
Instructions1. Apply shims at no less than five points in the door frame. The distance between the frame and the wall must not exceed 25 mm. The surface must be clean, firm and free of dust and grease.
2. Remove the lid and screw the adapter onto the can.
3. Turn the rotating black ring on the bottom of the can at least 6 times in the direction of the arrow to activate the chemical substances inside the can.
4. Shake the can at least 20 times. Shake the can more if it is cold.
5. Turn the can so that the valve is pointing downwards and start application immediately. Upon activation, you have about 6 minutes to distribute the foam. After that time, the foam will harden in the can. If the foam is not consistently green in colour, repeat steps 3 and 4 immediately. The foam expands 2-3 times in size. For safety reasons, remove the shims after 2 hours.
