The perimeter adhesive is only an assembly aid for securing insulating boards. The final bonding strength is achieved by the contact pressure of the backfilled soil, gravel etc. The backfilling process should take place within 14 days of bonding.
The usage instructions are recommendations based on the tests we have conducted and our experience; carry out your own tests before each application. Due to the large number of applications and storage and processing conditions, we do not assume any liability for a specific application result. Datasheets(X)
1-component polyurethane perimeter adhesive for bonding polystyrene hard foam boards in perimeter areas of outdoor façades, in accordance with DIN 4108-2. Adheres to all common building surfaces such as: concrete, masonry, stone, plaster, wood, metal, polystyrene and bitumen.
Before use, the can must be firmly screwed onto the gun and shaken approx. 30 times with the gun at the bottom in order to optimise the adhesive strength. After setting the adhesive strand, spray on the adhesive from the bottom upwards as vertically as possible. Press on the insulation panels firmly within 8 minutes and lightly fix in place. To complete application, seal all open joints with the perimeter adhesive and cut away any overhang once hardened. When work is interrupted or completed, make sure that the gun cap is closed. The gun should be cleaned with PURLOGIC Clean. Hardened adhesive must be removed mechanically. For detailed information, refer to the technical data sheet prior to use.
