Würth FLK Primer S
The Würth FLK Primer S is a transparent, quick drying, deep-penetrating, hard elastic, one-component, solvent-based, polyurethane-based primer with excellent adhesion on absorbent surfaces. Hardening takes place through a reaction with the air and ground moisture.

Preparation
Careful preparation of the surface is essential for optimum finish and a long
service life. The surface must be dry and free of grease, dirt and dust. All loose parts must be carefully removed. The substrate moisture should be max. 5%.
The compressive strength of the surface should be at least 25 MPa, the adhesion at least 1.5 MPa. New concrete structures must dry for at least 28 days. Old, loose coatings, dirt, greases, oils, organic substances and dust must be removed with a grinding machine. Smooth any surface irregularities and loose parts and thoroughly remove sanding dust.
Caution: Metal ball blasters will damage the surface and adversely affect adhesion!
The Würth FLK Primer S is the ideal surface preparation for new buildings and repair work on:

The FLK Primer S is applied before polyurethane and epoxy-based seals, coatings or sealants.
Consumption
An application quantity of 200 g/m² in a single layer is recommended. The quantity information is based on the use of a roller on a smooth surface in optimum conditions. Factors such as surface porosity, temperature and application method can increase the consumption.
Würth FLK Primer S can be applied with a roller, brush or airless spraying equipment. Application temperature: 5°C to 35°C. Low temperatures can delay hardening. High humidity can affect the surface of the coating visually. When processing the FLK Primer S we recommend avoiding paint build-up, otherwise air bubbles can form.
After 1-3 hours (no later than 4 hours) Würth FLK liquid plastic is applied on the still slightly sticky primer.
On very absorbent surfaces (e.g. lightweight concrete, certain cement mortars) two layers of FLK Primer S are recommended. The resulting pore seal prevents bubble formation of the following coating which can otherwise occur due to gas emission from the structure. The containers must be stored in a dry, cool place protected from direct sunlight and moisture.
