Application surfaces must be clean, free from release agents and load-bearing. Remove dust, grease, oils and loose particles. The surface may be damp but not wet. Brush porous and absorbent substrates down with a diluted sealant beforehand (1 part acrylate to 2 parts water). Allow the primer to air dry and spray the sealant on the still damp surface.

Preventing three-point adhesion:
During treatment, sealant must have only a 2-sided adhesion. Any other adhesion to a surface can result in stress cracks in the event of movement. In such cases, 100% sealing of the joint is no longer guaranteed. To prevent three-point adhesion, the joint should be packed with back-fill material.
