The shear load of the connected timbers must be observed and verified where necessary. Shear reinforcement can be added using ASSYplus VG full-thread screws. The respective basic conditions of ETA08/0183 must be observed.

Suitable fasteners
- Ring-shank/grooved nails in accordance with EN 14592: 4.0 x 40-60 mm
- ASSY 4.0 JH joist hanger screw: 5.0 x 70 mm
- Recommended anchor for attachment to concrete, d =10 mm or 12 mm: W-BS; W-FAZ; W-VIZ; WIT-VM 250
- The respective permissible edge distances and spacings of the fasteners must be observed
