- Two treatments carry a six-year warranty if an annual inspection and treatment is performed. If the vehicle is undergoing two treatments, wait one hour between applications before starting the second application.
Inspection
- For optimal care, check the vehicle's Evershine coating during its annual inspection.
- Thoroughly clean the vehicle. Then remove any tar stains, brake dust and oil, grease and wax residues using clay pads.
- Use a suitable lamp or aid to check the paint for damage in accordance with the specifications from the vehicle manufacturer.
- Treat the undamaged surface with polymer surface protection in accordance with the instructions.
- Record the inspection in the customer's warranty book. If the warranty book has been lost, a new book can be ordered. It is recommended to maintain documentation on Evershine for each vehicle in the workshop.
- In the event of paint damage, the cause must be determined. The warranty covers environmental influences that damage the paint, but does not cover mechanical damage such as stone chips or accidental damage.
- In case of mechanical damage, remove the Evershine coating from the affected area using P05 fast-grinding polish and buff it out using P30 Plus anti-hologram polish. Remove polish residues with a microfibre cloth. Then apply Evershine to reseal the surface.
- On the warranty card, the stamp/signature of the company that performed the sealing proves that the sealing was performed correctly.
Please note! Warranty is provided with the following prerequisites
- The user has been trained/certified
- Proper annual post-treatment of the vehicle can be documented
Warranty is voided due to the following causes
- In case of incorrect application by the user
- If the user is not certified
- Undocumented annual post-treatment
- Insufficient cleaning and degreasing before application
In order for a warranty card to be issued, we recommend that Evershine be used only by specially trained personnel.
Documented effect and durability
Can be used on matte lacquer, film, all types of lacquer as well as metals, rubber, polycarbonate, gelcoat and plastic strips
1. Before sealing, the vehicle must be washed and polished, depending on the condition of the paint. The intensity of the polishing depends on the condition of the surface.
2. The surface to be treated must be degreased using plenty of IPA cleaner and gentle microfibre cloths.
3. Cover the application sponge with a disposable cloth and add 10-15 drops of Evershine Ultima. Covering the sponge with a disposable cloth ensures even distribution.
4. Apply the treatment evenly in cross-shaped strokes. To ensure that the entire area is covered; it is recommended to apply the treatment to the vehicle section-by-section. The curing speed depends on temperature and humidity.
5. After 5-6 minutes, use a new microfibre cloth to gently wipe the surface. Turn and fold the cloth to ensure there is an unused section of cloth available. Use a second clean cloth to polish the surface.
6. To ensure optimal quality and a service life of 6 years, apply a second coat using the same method as for the first coat.
IMPORTANT: The vehicle can be handed over to the customer one hour after the final work step. From this point on, weather influences such as rain or snow will no longer have any effect on the coating. The coating takes 14 days to fully cure. Until then, the surface should not be subjected to mechanical or chemical stresses.
