Contact pressure
When grinding in a horizontal position, care must be taken to use only the weight of the machine rather than the body weight of the user. This is the only way to achieve automatic resharpening of the diamonds.
Machine rotation speed
If there is an audible drop in rotation speed, the contact pressure should be briefly reduced so that the cup wheel can cool down and the speed can return to the optimal value.
