Watertight and breathable

- Permanent, reliable sealing of joints outdoors, e.g. for window sills, floor-level windows and balcony doors, for exterior door sills, conservatories and in façade areas
- Sealing of blind joints
- For base sealing/threshold sealing when connecting to the sealing behind the perimeter insulation. The EPDM sealing tape with a thickness of 1.2 mm is suitable for this purpose in the following water influence classes: W1.1-E: Floor moisture and non-pressurised water for floor panels and walls in contact with the ground, W1.2-E: Floor moisture and non-pressurised water for floor panels and walls with drainage in contact with the ground, W2.1-E: Moderate influence from pressurised water ≤ 3 m immersion depth, W3-E: Non-pressurised water on non-navigable ceilings covered with earth, W4-E: Spray water on the wall socket as well as capillary water in and under walls in contact with the ground.
- The substrates must be dry, dust- and grease-free and capable of bearing loads
- Installation: Cut the EPDM tape to the required length. Apply the EPDM sealing tape adhesive to the substrate and wipe off with a joint knife. Glue the EPDM tape to the substrate and press on lightly using a press-on roller, while ensuring tension-free installation.
- The sealing tape must also be fixed to the frame/element with a mechanical fixing (as described in DIN 18533) in the design with self-adhesive strip
