As sheathing for cables and load-bearing and bracket constructions and to close spaces.
1. Hensotherm® 7 KS fabric can be cut easily with a knife or scissors.
2. Lay Hensotherm® 7 KS fabric in a longitudinal direction around cable bundle, load-bearing and bracket constructions.
3. Overlap of lengthwise and crosswise joints of at least 5 cm.
4. Two methods are permitted to close the cable sheathing: Lay the Hensotherm® 7 KS fabric on the underside of the cable bundle/load-bearing and bracket constructions against each other and secure with staples with stapling pliers or pneumatic stapling tongs. The distance of the staples from the fabric ends should be at least 2 cm. Or secure Hensotherm® 7 KS fabric with an overlap of at least 5 cm with metal tensioning straps or zinc-plated wire. Spacing of the fixings max. 40 cm.
5. If Hensotherm® 7 KS fabric is used in conjunction with cable conduits or conductors that are not fully occupied and therefore there are spaces larger than 4 cm between the cables and fabric, these must be filled with layers of the fire protection fabric.
