The socket is attached to the lugs on the masonry using high-strength adhesive or screws, the gap in the masonry is then filled with 1C gun foam.
Advantages:
- Precise installation of socket by means of markings in the centre of the lugs (vertical and horizontal)
- No plaster required (no water, no mixing necessary)
- Mounting options for switch inserts on all 4 sides
- 8 mm hole in the bottom of the socket, for easier foam application
- Large mounting holes for plug screw WG-FIX
- Roughened plastic surface for better adhesion of interior plaster
- The 10-cm attachment lugs can be shortened if necessary to 5 cm in length, or removed entirely.
When bonding, the substrate must be free of dust.
Full-surface foaming of cable slots is not recommended.
Suitable for cavity bricks and aerated concrete.
1. Create a bore with Dmin = 82 mm for the UP socket using a diamond hole saw or hammer and chisel.
2. Position UP socket horizontally and fix in place with X-Press 500 high-strength adhesive art. no. 0893 226 100, WG-Fix screw art. no. 0189 363 60, 0189 363 30 or nails.
When gluing, apply two dots to the back of the lug and push the sockets onto the wall.
3. Fill gap in masonry with 1C gun foam Powerpur 0892 152 13. It is sufficient to foam fill around the rear 2/3 of the socket.
4. Once the foam has hardened (cuttable after approx. 20 min.) the hose can be laid.
5. Hose can be attached using lance drill bits or multi-purpose drill bits (Würth) and push-fit clips (Würth).
