The socket is fastened to the masonry via the lugs using high-strength adhesive, screws or adhesive tape, then the gap in the masonry is filled with expanding foam.
The lugs can subsequently be broken away.
Benefits:
- Precise installation of socket using lugs (vertical and horizontal)
- The socket edge is below the existing edge of the masonry, ensuring clean subsequent installation.
- No plaster required (no water, no mixing necessary)
- The 10-cm attachment lugs can be shortened if necessary to 5 cm in length, or removed entirely.
When bonding, the substrate must be free of dust.
Full-surface foaming of cable slots is not recommended.
Suitable for cavity bricks and aerated concrete.
1. Produce hole with Dmin = 82 mm for UP socket using diamond hole saw or hammer and chisel.
2. Position UP socket horizontally and fix in place with adhesive tape.
3. Fill gap in masonry with 1C gun foam 0892 142 9. Filling the rear 2/3 of the socket with foam is sufficient.
4. Once the foam has hardened (cuttable after approx. 35 min.) the hose can be laid.
