8 buffers that measure the degree of collapse of the fittings for the braided hoses measuring Ø 3/16 inches to Ø 1.1/4 inches and that also measure the degree of collapse of the fittings for the spiral hoses measuring 1/4 inch to 1.1/4 inches; (on request, the
buffers for the 1.1/2-inch and 2-inch connections can be obtained)
The data included in the pressing dimensions tables is based on findings obtained from practical test series. Deviations in the inner and outer diameter of hoses within the tolerance fields are permitted. This may result in corrections to pressing dimensions being required. The procedure for checking and correcting pressing dimensions for embedding described and illustrated below only applies to fittings that require nipple constriction as a test criterion according to the information in the pressing dimensions table (see pressing dimensions table).
