The flush-mounted mounting plate serves as a mounting adapter between a flush-mounted box (in a concrete ceiling or hollow wall box in a plasterboard ceiling or wall) and the suspension device of the luminaire when installing suspended, pendant and wall lights.
Recommended screws:
- For installing the mounting plate on the flush-mounted socket: 3 x 30 mm
- For installing the lamp bracket on the mounting plate: 4 x 20 mm pan head wood or chipboard screws
- For installing hooks: min. hook diameter 4 mm
Central load:
Mounting plate 1.5 mm: max. 20 kg
Using the same screw hole multiple times to fasten a hook or a lamp bracket is not recommended.
A different position should be selected in the slots each time a screw is mounted in the mounting plate.
Caution: The more times a screw is screwed into the same position, the less securely the screw will hold in the mounting plate.
Installing suspended/pendant/wall or ceiling lights on flush-mounted sockets in concrete or hollow wall sockets in gypsum plasterboard walls/ceilings.
The lamp hook or bracket for the lamp mounting is fixed to the mounting plate, and the mounting plate is attached to the flush-mounted socket. The power cable is connected through the designated hole, and the lamp is connected to the power cable. Finally, the canopy/cover of the lamp is placed over the mounting plate and the flush-mounted socket to cover the holes.
