Properties
Universal alkyd-based primer for external and internal use with active corrosion protection (zinc phosphate). Use with synthetic resin paints for excellent results. Main features of Würth rust protection base:
- Quick-drying
- Good application
- Long-lasting protection
Drying (20°C, 60% RH)
- Dust-dry after 1-2 hours
- Touch-dry after 4-5 hours
- Completely dry in approx. 12 hours
Use
Approx. 125 g/m2 or 7-8 m2/kg (depending on application process). Can be stored for 1 year in closed container. Storage regulations as per VBF are not applicable.
The surface must be dry, clean and free from grease and rust. Old coats must be either adhesive and sanded or removed. De-rust iron thoroughly and apply 2 coats of primer.
