Rounding off sharp edges with ball-nose end mills
- Rounding off steel structures according to EN 1090, ISO 12944, ISO 8501 or IMO PSPC
- For very good adhesion of coatings or paints as protection against corrosion
- As a base for electroplating
- The edges cannot be evenly rounded off with lamella flap discs or rough grinding discs, particularly with smaller recesses or holes
Milling of a welding edge with chamfer mills
- Uniform welding edge
- Fast, precise, effortless and effective
- Available for different angles and material thicknesses
Advantages over other solutions
- Reduced noise level compared to sanding discs
- Minimised tool vibration
- More cutting and therefore longer service life compared to milling cutters with indexable inserts. No downtimes for replacing sanding discs or reversing indexable inserts
- The end result is demonstrably better than the use of sanding discs or indexable inserts
- Heat is dissipated to the chips. Therefore, there is no risk of discolouration or deformation of the sheet
Matching guide bearing and screw included in scope of delivery.
