The provisions for transporting gas bottles in enclosed vehicles according to DVS (German Welding Society) information leaflet 0211 and Health & Safety Directive 590 must be observed.

For the cargo space to be well ventilated, the ventilation openings should be diagonally arranged where possible. There must be a free cross-section of at least 100 cm2 around each ventilation opening. When driving with compressed gas cylinders, it must be ensured that the ventilation openings are unobstructed. The cargo space must be sealed off from the driver's cab.
