The surfaces must be clean, dry and free from dust and grease. The best adhesive results are achieved when a primer is used. Depending on the surface, apply a thin layer of primer to the clean, dry and grease-free adhesive surfaces. The primer must be allowed to evaporate before the sealant is applied. Observe the specified drying times.
Most primers contain flammable solvents and are sensitive to moisture. It is therefore recommended that the container is closed tightly again immediately after use.
Tip: A coat of primer or paint should be applied to the material within two hours, otherwise adhesion problems may occur.
