Datasheets(X)
Preparation of substrate:
The substrate must be solid, clean and stable in accordance with applicable standards. It must not exhibit any crumbling elements and must be well moistened prior to application.
To prepare the mixture:
Use a sufficient quantity of water to produce a plastic compound that can be applied well with a trowel. Due to the short pot life (approx. 2 mins), it is recommended that you mix small quantities by hand, as product that is already setting may not bond properly to the substrate. At higher ambient temperatures, use cold water, which extends the pot life slightly. In cold temperatures, warm water should be retained, otherwise the pot life may increase up to 8-9 minutes.
Application:
The substrate must be well moistened prior to application. Position the part to be attached as necessary and dip into the product, ensuring that the mortar is thoroughly pressed on for perfect contact with the substrate and object. If minor, localised water infiltration is to be sealed (e.g. crack in concrete in the ground), use only the amount of cement needed to fill the gap.
Consumption:
1.8 kg repair cement Rapid for 1 dm3 (1 litre) of cavity to be filled.
Cleaning:
Clean work implements immediately after use with water. Hardened material must be removed mechanically.
