Two-component, solvent-free, highly flexible, crack-bridging bitumen/natural rubber coating filled with expandable polystyrene balls for sealing components in contact with the ground; floors, balconies and terraces.

Filled with expandable polystyrene

The expandable polystyrene balls determine the minimum layer thickness to guarantee optimal coverage

Two-component

Fast reaction even in adverse weather conditions

Rainproof after 3 hours

Thixotropic

Easy to apply even on vertical surfaces

Tested according to standards

Bitumen thick coating in accordance with ÖNORM EN 15814 for use according to DIN 18533

Low consumption

Increased coverage from the same amount

Water impact classes according to DIN 18533, tab. 1:

  • W1-E - soil moisture and non-pressurised water

  • W2.1-E - moderate influence of pressurised water (immersion depth = 3 m)

  • W3-E - non-pressurised water on ceilings covered with earth

  • W4-E - spray water on the wall base as well as capillary water in and under walls in contact with the ground
Notice

Do not apply under +5°C or over +30°C, or when it is raining or may rain. Prevent moisture penetration at the rear. Use protective layers to protect sealed surfaces from mechanical loads. Do not build over sealed balconies and terraces with stilt bearings or using the thin bed method. Do not mix with solvents and cement! Observe the information in DIN 18533 during application.

Application area
  • For sealing horizontal, non-walkable surfaces

  • For external sealing of foundations, basements and underground parking garages

  • For bonding hard foam insulation, protective and drainage panels on bitumen and mineral base materials

  • For protecting horizontal surfaces against moisture

  • For sealing balconies and terraces against surface water with screed as a protective layer

  • For sealing outdoor basins, containers, wells and manholes

  • For protecting against aggressive waters

  • Solvent-free
Instructions

Briefly stir up the thixotropic emulsion. Then add the powder component and mix both components into a homogeneous mass.

The mixed material is usable for one hour. Mixing ratio for partial amounts:

Emulsion:powder = 4:1 parts by weight. Primer: Prime the dry or matt-moist base material with

Bitudicht 2C (1:10 mixed with water).

After the primer has dried, apply two layers of Bitudicht 2C using a smoothing trowel or a trowel.

Observe the DIN 18533 processing instructions!

When filling the excavation, the seal must already be fully cured and the surfaces must be protected against damage by suitable protective layers

(drainage panels and perimeter insulation panels). The perimeter insulation should be applied to the cured seal by spot bonding (5-8 adhesive points/m2) with Bitudicht. (Consumption 1-2 l/m2).

Cleaning:

Hands and tools can be easily cleaned with plenty of water immediately after applying the product. Once cured, the product can be removed only by mechanical means.
