WEARstick Dur 600 is suitable for universal armouring on components made of steel, cast steel and Mn high-carbon steel that are simultaneously subjected to friction, pressure and impact.
Preferred areas of use include applications on tools of earthmoving machines such as excavator teeth, wear parts of rock processing plants such as crusher jaw plates, crusher cones, baffle plates and strike mill hammers and for regenerating cutting edges and work surfaces on cold work tools.
Hardness of the pure weld material 56-58 HRC, after soft annealing 780-820 °C/oven approx. 25 HRC, after hardening 1,000-1,050 °C/oil approx. 60 HRC, first layer on Mn steel approx. 22 HRC, second layer on Mn steel approx. 40 HRC, WEARstick Dur 600 has excellent welding properties, and is characterised by a smooth arc, a consistent flow, good bead formation and slag that is very easy to remove.
Processing the weld material is only possible by sanding.
